One of the greatest joys of my volunteer work is witnessing what can happen when compassionate people come together around a common purpose. This Thanksgiving season, I could not be more proud of the incredible women of New Providence Twig 10 and the many community partners who joined us in supporting families served by the HealthStart Clinic at Overlook Medical Center. What began nearly a decade ago as a small gathering of friends around my dining room table has grown into a vibrant organization of more than 85 dedicated Auxiliary members. Together, we have built a culture of service, friendship, and giving that continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This year marked a significant milestone for our annual Thanksgiving Meal Program as we worked toward providing holiday meal bags and grocery gift cards to 800 families across Union, Essex, and Morris counties. Each bag contains pantry staples for a Thanksgiving meal, breakfast items for the next morning, and a grocery gift card that allows families to purchase the foods and essentials that best meet their needs.
